About the Author
Kate Bauer is the Community Engagement Manager at CoverMyMeds and is responsible for enhancing the company’s corporate citizenship. Kate’s areas of focus include philanthropic investments, forming community partnerships and engaging the company’s employees with community service opportunities.
Prior to joining CoverMyMeds, Kate worked at Columbia Gas of Ohio, where she created the company’s philanthropic strategy, Columbia Cares. During her career, Kate has also held positions in leadership development with NiSource and Big Lots Stores, Inc. While at Big Lots Stores, Inc., Kate also took an active role in the company’s philanthropic initiatives and received internal recognition for her contributions.
Kate is an active member of the Columbus community, serving as secretary of the board of directors for Dress for Success Columbus. She holds a bachelor’s degree in communications from The Ohio State University. In addition, Kate has earned a certification in Corporate Citizenship Management from the Boston College Center for Corporate Citizenship and is a 2017 graduate of Leadership Columbus. Kate resides in Upper Arlington with her husband, Ted, and their two sons.
